Why is photo planning important?

 Photo planning is important to know what type of pictures and methods to take before taking them. This is useful information as being prepared to take the right photo may be a time sensitive thing. Photo planning can also help visualize the magazine. The magazine sketch also was a way of planning what to include in the magazine which can easily be changed before finalizing it. This is very helpful to me as before accessing a computer I know exactly what I want.
