To start I had many ideas for my cover. The first thing I knew was my color scheme that would be orange as to match my partners color choice. The second thing I evaluated was that I knew I needed a barcode, price, publication title, folio, and title. The title was colored in red and white to match the national flags color. I included the rest immediately along with a puff. I then went further into development and reformatted the position of my puff to fit two secondary cover lines on the left side. And included information at the bottom. I chose not to include a strapline as I felt it was too old fashioned and did not fit the food theme other magazines of my same genre showed this to be true. A kicker also was not included for the same reason.
